At JT Building we turn your ideas into reality. Specialising in building unique custom homes tailored to our clients style and needs. Whether you have your own plans from a draftsman or starting from zero, we are here to make your experience as seamless and stress free as possible.
As a one-stop-shop we develop all stages of construction working from the ground up doing our own earthworx and concreting which puts our construction phase in front of our expected completion date as this means we don't need to work around other trades.

1 / Initial Meeting & Design Brief
When you engage with us the Office Manager will schedule an office meeting for you to meet with the director to discuss your vision and ideas. During this meeting Jarrod will ask you what your needs are and will help with any questions, concerns or advice you require. Jarrod will sketch with you a design to later put forward to our draftsman.
Alternatively if you have already developed plans for your new home through an architect or draftsman we will skip over the design brief process but will look over to see if there are any improvements that could be made based on functionality and design. Once you are happy with the plans Jarrod will present you with a quotation. We feel so lucky to have developed great relationships with local draftsman's, engineers and local council.
2 / Design & Approval
Once the concept brief is complete and the dream design is achieved we begin to work with our draftsman to develop your architectural plans. This process repeats until you are completely satisifed and you can't stop smiling over the design of your new home. We will then arrange for a soil test and slab engineering at the site to test for any ground movement.
Jarrod will then put together a formal quotation to present in a meeting with you - a black and white no hidden fees quotation. Once you've accepted and are happy to proceed Jarrod will begin to draw up the contract. Once you've signed the contract we'll move straight into submitting your council application.
3 / Council Documentation & Home Owners Warranty
As soon as the contract is signed, we work quickly to submit and lodge your council application through a certified town planner as this process can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to receive your approval.
You can rest easy knowing we have this dreaded part of the process taken care of. We will keep you updated along the way letting you know once approval has been received and if necessary we will forward the relevant documentation onto the banks for you.
Once we've received approval we will apply your home owners warranty and begin the construction phase.
4 / Construction
This is where the fun begins and we start to bring your visions to reality. In this phase we will plan out the steps to building your dream home, liaising with our expert team and subcontractors ensuring they understand the requirements and time frame on your home.
During the construction phase we will meet with you across various stages keeping you involved and informed of where the process is up to.
During this phase our Office Manager if not selected already, will present you with a personalised colour selection sheet which is user friendly. We are here to help through this process to make it as stress free and easy as possible.
This is our absolute favourite stage as we put our skills and expertise into action.
5 / Handover
Once the last components are complete we will run through your custom built home with you to ensure you're completely satisfied with our workmanship and it meets our high standards.
We will then hand over the keys to your new home along with all the documentation and warranties for your home.
